Job Title: Commercial Sales Manager

The Commercial Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving sales growth and revenue within their assigned AutoZone location. This position requires a strong leader with excellent communication skills, who can develop and maintain positive relationships with commercial customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve growth and hit sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with commercial customers through effective communication and customer service.
  • Act as the primary contact for commercial customers, ensuring open lines of communication between AutoZone and commercial customers.
  • Manage delivery routes and drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products.
  • Conduct research to guarantee the customer is offered the 'right part for the right price.'
  • Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts, process returns, and reconcile accounts.
  • Visit commercial accounts to ensure accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
  • Contribute to the AutoZone 'one-team' environment by assisting customers and AutoZoners with various aspects of the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with management team, assist with training and developing drivers, commercial specialists, and other AutoZoners as directed.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring AutoZoners implement safe practices, including PPE.
  • Follow proper accident and claim procedures, comply with safe driving rules and procedures, and ensure all Commercial Zoners have approved driver status.
  • Properly maintain vehicle(s) and report vehicle maintenance issues.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
  • Effective leader with excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and excellent selling skills.
  • Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including holidays, evenings, and weekend shifts.
