At Community Renewal Team, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Program Support Assistant to join our team in the Early Childcare & Education department.

This is a non-exempt position with a competitive salary of $15.75 per hour.

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while adhering to food safety requirements to provide safe food to children and staff.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food items delivered meet quality standards.
  • Record and report food temperatures daily.
  • Manage food stock rotation and ordering supplies.
  • Deliver meals to classrooms according to daily attendance.
  • Clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Maintain a tidy kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of food safety principles.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for counting and recording.
