We are seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at HumanEdge Allied Health. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced medical facility located in the Hartford area.

As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting physicians in examination and treatment of patients, rooming patients and obtaining information, measuring vital signs, and recording information on patients' charts/Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

You will also collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. To succeed in this role, you will need to have high school diploma and at least one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. Additionally, you should be proficient in Epic and have knowledge of INDCTPA and #ZRCTPA standards.

About the Role
  • Work under the clinical supervision of the practice physician(s) and clinic supervisor/manager
  • Assist in examination and treatment of patients
  • Room patients and obtain information
  • Measure vital signs
  • Record information on patients' charts/Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Collect and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $20 - $23 per hour.
