About the Role

This position is responsible for the production of Matterport cameras. The Assembler will ensure that production is executed in a timely manner while maintaining all quality parameters. This is a temporary position in our Sunnyvale office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture and pack products as necessary
  • Suggest and implement cost-saving ideas
  • Perform related duties as assigned
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Investigate and report all incidents (spills, accidents, poor performance, etc.)
Required Skills and Abilities
  • Basic understanding of computers

  • Experience using basic hand tools (screwdrivers, tweezers, etc.)

Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Must be able to climb stairs, stand for extended periods of time, and safely lift up to 50lbs

About You

You are a skilled assembler with 2+ years of hands-on experience in a high volume manufacturing or production environment. You have a keen eye for detail and precision, ensuring all parts are assembled accurately and meet quality standards. You possess strong mechanical aptitude and are comfortable working with various tools, equipment, and assembly instructions. You are committed to safety protocols and follow best practices to ensure a safe working environment. You are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of work. You demonstrate problem-solving skills and are proactive in identifying and addressing potential issues during the assembly process. You are dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and accountability in your work. Physical stamina is one of your strengths, allowing you to handle repetitive tasks and lift moderate weights when necessary. You are eager to grow your skills and adapt to new challenges and changes in the production process.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $16.96/hr - $23.22/hr + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
