Job Title: Electronics Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at Lockheed Martin Corporation. As an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for determining the sequence of manufacturing and assembly for electronic products, producing work instructions for technicians, and selecting or designing shop aids, tools, or equipment to use during the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the sequence of manufacturing and assembly for electronic products (CCAs, Modules, Boxes).
  • Produce work instructions for technicians to follow.
  • Select or design shop aids, tools, or equipment to use during the manufacturing process.
  • Help solve production issues to correct and reduce defects.
  • Implement process improvements to deliver products faster and cheaper.
Requirements:
  • Experience with technical writing and/or with drafting work instructions.
  • Manufacturing experience.
  • Ability to read engineering drawing and/or requirement specifications.
  • Must be a US Citizen; this position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired Skills:
  • Knowledge or experience with electronics processes (SMT, hand solder, bonding, conformal coating, wiring, crimping, etc.).
  • Lean six sigma knowledge or experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (Engineering, Manufacturing, Science, Technology) + 2 years related work experience (either part time, or internship), or Masters degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
