Position Summary

The Water Purification Product Engineer is essential in partnering with the Research and Development (R&D) and export teams to enhance and promote water-related products specifically for the US market. This role requires an understanding of industry trends, competitor activities, and compliance with US product certifications, including NSF/ANSI standards. The engineer will also deliver vital technical support and training to the sales team, ensuring that our products meet market expectations and regulatory requirements. A background in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Engineering, along with robust project management capabilities, is vital for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the R&D team to innovate and refine products in line with market needs and technological progress.
  • Conduct ongoing research to analyze the US market, focusing on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences.
  • Assist in strategizing the company's water product portfolio (including purification, drinking, and soft water) tailored for the US market.
  • Coordinate product field trials nationwide to gather immediate feedback on potential enhancements and quality issues.
  • Perform competitive analyses and evaluate product performance metrics.
  • Engage with third-party organizations to secure necessary certifications relevant to the US market, such as NSF/ANSI standards.
  • Ensure adherence to all federal regulations, including the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) and EPA FIFRA labeling requirements.
  • Contribute to the creation and revision of product documentation, including installation manuals and user guides.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to empower the sales team and customers in understanding and utilizing our products effectively.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required; a Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated project management, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the drinking water purification sector or familiarity with certifying consumer products is preferred.
  • Proficient in English with strong listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, enabling effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
