Position Overview:
The Product Development Engineer plays a crucial role within the R&D Team in the United States, engaging in strategic decision-making for R&D initiatives and addressing challenges in the marketplace. This position is essential for nurturing innovation and systematically resolving significant issues encountered during execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume full accountability for the development of gas water heater products and associated technologies.
- Develop technical strategies informed by market trends and customer feedback, while exploring advanced technologies for future product lines.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and cost reduction.
- Evaluate and enhance quality concerns, with a focus on boosting product reliability and customer satisfaction.
- Collect, analyze, and assimilate relevant product regulations and policies to ensure compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in combustion and heat transfer technologies.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in product development related to gas water heaters or similar fields.
- Experience in the development of burners, premixed gas systems, and/or instantaneous combustion technologies.
- Ability to interpret and apply design requirements in accordance with industry standards.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively, demonstrating a service-oriented mindset and high execution capability.
- Proven track record of independently managing development projects from inception to market introduction.
Technical Proficiencies:
- Expertise in SolidWorks, Creo, and other 3D CAD software.
