Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Epic Behavioral Health Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our clinical informatics team, you will be responsible for leading a team of analysts, overseeing project execution, and ensuring seamless integration of Epic Behavioral Health functionality with our business priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, organize, and facilitate meetings, and oversee follow-up activities to ensure successful project execution.
- Respond to user requests, troubleshoot system issues, and develop corrective action plans to maintain system integrity.
- Participate in change, defect, incident, and demand management processes to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Lead a team of analysts, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure team success.
- Communicate identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities to the project management team, and assist in developing solutions and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain effective relationships with the Office of Behavioral Health, aligning business priorities with Epic Behavioral Health functionality.
- Provide analytical expertise for the development and technical support of the Epic EMR Behavioral Health system.
- Maintain regular communication with EHR/Epic teams, participating in weekly project team meetings to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Ensure Special Updates/Upgrades are reviewed, presented to subject matter experts, and approved by relevant councils, with recommendations for training and follow-up.
- Work collaboratively with EHR/Epic teams and the organization's business community to ensure the system meets business needs.
- This role requires approximately 80% remote work and up to 20% on-site work. The selected candidate must be able to come into the office to perform required work within 48 hours.
- A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study.
- Five (5) years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications, with supervisory experience (5 years) for Operations Specialty or a telecommunications background and experience for Network Services.
- Broad knowledge and expertise in computer systems, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management, and retrieval techniques.
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.

- Excel and data analysis skills
- At least 5+ years of experience with Epic EMR and/or other clinical applications, 5+ years of Healthcare IT/Informatics experience, and at least 3 full life-cycle implementations.
