Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Behavioral Health Team Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will lead a team of analysts, provide analytical expertise for the development and technical support of the Epic EMR Behavioral Health, and maintain effective relationships with the Office of Behavioral Health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, organize, and lead meetings and oversee follow-up activities
  • Respond to user requests, record, and troubleshoot system issues and affect corrective action plans
  • Participate in change, defect, incident, and demand management processes
  • Lead a team of analysts and/or perform as mentor for junior analysts
  • Communicate identified risks, concerns, and ambiguities to the project management team and assist in developing solutions and mitigation strategies
  • Maintain regular communication with other EHR/Epic teams and participate/lead in weekly project team meetings
  • Maintain special updates/upgrades, including review, presentation to subject matter experts, and approval
  • Work well with EHR/Epic teams and the organization's business community and end-users to ensure the system meets the organization's business needs
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, applied Mathematics, Business Administration, Economics/Statistics, Telecommunications, Data Communications, or a related field of study
  • Five years of progressive, responsible experience in the field of data processing, computer systems, and applications
  • Broad knowledge and expertise in the characteristics of computers, peripheral devices, communications systems, and hardware capabilities, programming languages, E.D.P. applications, systems analysis methodology, data management, and retrieval techniques
