Chief Executive Officer – Property and Casualty Insurance

Elevate your leadership capabilities in the Property and Casualty (P&C) sector with a prominent regional insurance firm. Our client is seeking a dynamic Chief Executive Officer to spearhead their expansion efforts across multiple states.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the personal lines insurance domain, with a strong emphasis on fostering business growth through adept management, innovative business development, and strategic oversight.

This role necessitates the selected individual to be based in Central California and to be present in the office on a regular basis.

Key Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related discipline.
  • A master's degree and/or relevant insurance certifications (CPCU, SCLA, etc.) are highly regarded.
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience within the Property and Casualty insurance landscape.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a leadership capacity within the insurance sector.
  • Demonstrated success in managing P&C insurance operations at various levels, with a focus on growth and financial stability.
  • A strategic thinker capable of leading decisively when necessary while also empowering team members.
  • Results-driven and flexible, with a strategic approach to challenges.
  • Exhibits a servant leadership style, committed to continuous learning and embodying the company's core values.
  • A critical thinker with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Comprehensive understanding of market research methodologies and analytical techniques.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

  • Travel will be necessary.
  • Ability to maintain focus for extended periods.
  • Frequent communication via various channels.
  • Capability to sit or stand for prolonged durations.
  • Must be able to lift up to twenty-five (25) lbs.
  • Proficient in operating and accessing information using computers and other office tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with unexpected interruptions.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Skill in visually scanning and identifying critical numerical data and discrepancies.
