About the Role

SmartVault Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Marketing Development Representative to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our marketing and sales team, you will play a vital role in generating and qualifying leads to support our company's growth initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential leads through various channels, including online research, trade shows, webinars, and inbound inquiries.
  • Build and Maintain a Database: Develop and maintain a database of potential customers and decision-makers within target industries and companies.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Initiate outbound communication with leads via phone calls, emails, and social media to introduce our company's products or services and gauge their interest.
  • Qualify Leads: Qualify leads based on criteria such as budget, timeline, and need, and prioritize them for further engagement.
  • Qualification and Needs Assessment: Engage in conversations with leads to understand their business challenges, needs, and pain points.
  • Lead Nurturing: Maintain ongoing communication with qualified leads to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Collaboration with Sales: Collaborate closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and ensure a seamless transition from marketing to sales.
  • Data Management: Keep accurate records of all interactions and lead status in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in lead generation, inside sales, or a related role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including active listening and rapport-building abilities.
  • Self-Motivated: Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • CRM Experience: Experience with CRM software, business intelligence data, and sales engagement tools.
  • Knowledge of the Industry: Knowledge of the company's products or services and a strong understanding of the target market.
