Job Summary

The Loan Documentation and Processing team at Citigroup is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing loan documentation, providing support to various tasks related to the loan process, and independently processing and closing loans within a complex loan operations environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation and review of loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide support to various tasks related to the loan process, including loan processing, closing, and documentation.
  • Independently process and close loans within a complex loan operations environment, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve issues and improve loan processing efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of loan products, services, and processes to provide expert advice and support to colleagues and clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliance and best practices.
Requirements
  • 0-2 years of experience in loan documentation, loan processing, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of business processes, systems, and tools used in the loan process.
  • Demonstrate understanding of loan processes, procedures, products, and services.
  • General awareness of managing, preparing, and reviewing loan documentation.
  • Able to identify, mitigate, manage, resolve, and escalate risks and issues.
  • Awareness of risk types, policies, and control measures and processes.
  • Comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and adhere to policies.
Education
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This role is based in New Castle, Delaware, and requires full-time work hours. Citigroup offers a competitive salary range of $48,160.00 to $68,160.00, as well as a range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), life, accident, and disability insurance, and wellness programs.
