Job Title: Education Specialist - Learning Disabilities

Description: Princeton Public Schools is seeking an experienced Education Specialist to join our team. As a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant, you will play a critical role in supporting students with learning disabilities.

About the Role:

This position is a part-time opportunity that requires a strong commitment to student support and academic success. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with diverse needs and be able to provide tailored instruction to meet individual learning requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans for students with learning disabilities
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to provide targeted support and accommodations
  • Provide professional development and training to teachers on best practices for supporting students with learning disabilities
  • Assist with assessment and identification of students who require additional support

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid New Jersey teaching certification
  • Experience working with students with learning disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $75,000-$90,000, based on industry standards and location. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
