Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Assistant to support our billing department. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate invoicing, managing billing records, and assisting with customer inquiries related to billing issues.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a clean and orderly workspace.
  • Checks company provided email every morning and throughout the day and responds as needed.
  • Maintains filing system, reorganizing when needed.
  • Is proactive in assisting other members of the office team when necessary.
  • Works with the rest of billing staff in data entry, breakdown, and mail out of billing, stamping and scanning and any additional needs.
  • Works efficiently to complete billing in a timely manner.
  • Contributes to the team's efforts by completing high-quality work in a timely manner.
  • Promptly communicates questions, concerns and an inability to complete tasks on time to necessary staff personnel.
  • Maintains professionalism, and refrains from engaging in any unprofessional conduct.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or finance preferred
  • Proven experience in a billing or accounts receivable role
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
