POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Planning and Analysis (BP&A) team plays a crucial role in evaluating, forecasting, and reporting essential financial and commercial metrics to support the Clean Products Value Chain (CPVC). The Clean Products BP&A group collaborates with business leaders to enhance performance across all commercial channels and regions. The Senior Analyst position is tasked with constructing the performance narrative for the clean products commercial division, overseeing compliance analysis with state and federal regulations, and spearheading special initiatives within the clean products BP&A team. This role will report directly to the Senior Director of Clean Products BP&A and will engage closely with CPVC managers on a daily basis.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Compile and present the clean products performance narrative, including market capture impacts.
  • Manage and refine clean product forecast sensitivities.
  • Conduct analytical assessments to comprehend regulatory compliance costs and their recovery in market pricing.
  • Drive continuous enhancement of analytical standards for the Clean Products BP&A team.
  • Deliver actionable insights to the commercial team aimed at improving the understanding of financial performance drivers.
  • Assist with ad-hoc financial and operational analyses.
  • Lead special projects as required.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in Finance, Commercial, or a related area.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Experience in creating presentation materials and delivering them to senior management is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) or relational databases (like SQL, Access) is advantageous.
