Job Overview

We are looking for a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to ensure the highest standards of product quality at Sieling & Jones Inc. The ideal candidate will be proactive, eager to learn, and possess strong teamwork skills.

Work Schedule:
1st shift, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM with opportunities for overtime on Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure quality and precision.
- Perform visual assessments to detect any defects or operational issues.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery for necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Operate power tools for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines consistently.

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a wood manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools; willingness to learn about woodworking equipment operation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in inspection processes.

Requirements:
- Capability to lift 20-30 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer skills, along with the ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey information across departments.
- Ability to read and understand documentation, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Knowledge of the wood industry is advantageous.

Additional Skills:
*Photography skills or familiarity with Adobe Photoshop are a plus.*

We maintain a drug-free workplace, conducting initial drug/alcohol testing prior to hiring, with random testing for employees thereafter.
