Position: Senior Power Electronics Engineer

Compensation: $ 65-70/hr (W2 Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of Power Conversion Systems: Spearhead the design and evaluation of AC-DC and DC-AC conversion systems.
  • Development of Motor Control Systems: Create and assess motor control systems for diverse applications.
  • Modeling and Simulation: Employ MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and validation.
  • Prototype Evaluation: Execute prototype testing on hardware-in-the-loop systems and variable speed drives to confirm control efficacy.
  • Quality Assurance: Guarantee adherence to quality standards, protocols, and guidelines throughout the development and testing processes.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of experience or Master’s degree with 5 years of experience in Power Electronics.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in AC-DC and DC-AC conversion, as well as motor control design and testing.
  • Simulation Experience: Familiarity with MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and validation.
  • Testing Skills: Capability to perform hands-on testing, including the setup and operation of laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and digital multimeters.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of effective teamwork.
