Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Corporate Buyer to join our team at U.S. Environmental Rental Corporation. The successful candidate will provide support to Site Directors, Sales staff, and CSRs by running inventory reports, making comparative cost analyses, and managing our rental fleet inventory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Buy consumable products and equipment to be resold to clients, establishing competitive but profitable pricing.
  • Manage purchase orders, coordinate receiving, and approve invoices for payment.
  • Oversee bi-annual physical inventories for consumable items and quarterly physical inventories for fixed assets.
  • Negotiate pricing on commodity items and make process improvements as needed.
  • Assist in drafting reports, presentations, and other company documents for corporate team reviews.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work autonomously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • College degree preferred, high school diploma required.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with buying and inventories, cost comparisons, and sales pricing.
  • Working with large, diverse groups and environmental technology applications.

Work Environment:

The physical demands of this position require regular talking and listening, frequent use of hands and fingers, and occasional lifting of up to 15 pounds. The work environment is typically moderate noise level.
