Join the PT-PRRO Product Realization and Reliability Office team as a Senior Systems Engineer and contribute to the success of our organization. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing engineering analysis support for all PT division production activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement detailed models of production processes, including metal refining, melting, casting, heat treat, forming, machining, and welding.
- Provide comprehensive analytical support for the design and development of PT tooling, fixturing, and new process equipment.
- Conduct complex modeling and simulation using SysML, SymPy, and other tools.
- Set up, run, debug, validate, and interpret results of failure mode and effects analyses, fault tree analyses, and other risk assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution and 4 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Q clearance and US citizenship required.
- Proficiency in Python, MatLab, and other relevant tools.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Master's or PhD degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Experience with mechanical testing, process modeling, and validation and verification methods.
- Proficiency in Cameo and other commercial applications.
