This includes the collection and analysis of relevant data to track progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain partnerships to develop articulation agreements that facilitate smooth academic transitions for nursing students.
  • Collaborate with partners to implement their segments of the curriculum offered at the institution.
  • Provide guidance and support to students enrolled in the program.
  • Create informative web pages and conduct workshops to inform nursing students about academic progression options.
  • Work alongside nursing faculty to design and execute alternative learning experiences, including tutoring and skills workshops focused on time management, stress management, and effective study techniques.
  • Initiate support contracts for nursing students identified as needing additional academic assistance.
  • Engage with students and faculty to monitor progress and document success plans.
  • Supply supplementary resources during in-person sessions and through the learning management system.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with nursing faculty to discuss student progress and identify further support needs.
  • Organize and lead weekly workshops on test-taking strategies for first-level students.
  • Facilitate individual and group study sessions.
  • Perform one-on-one post-exam reviews with students referred by faculty.
  • Refer students to academic support services as necessary.
  • Ensure effective communication between faculty and students.
  • Monitor academic performance and support data collection to track retention rates.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting reports and surveys related to student success.
  • Participate in relevant meetings to provide updates on student progress and obtain faculty referrals.
  • Support faculty in creating policies aimed at enhancing first-year student success within the nursing program.
  • Engage in student workshops and orientations as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: A Master's degree in nursing with at least three years of supervisory experience. Experience in program administration within the last five years, preferably in a grant-funded context. Proficiency in monitoring, evaluating, reporting, and budget management is essential. The ability to work collaboratively and possess strong communication skills is required.

Experience: Relevant program administration experience, particularly in nursing education, is necessary.

Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication abilities, along with proficiency in technology tools such as Microsoft Office, email, and learning management systems.
