Role Overview:

The Customer Service Representative plays a crucial role in addressing customer inquiries and fulfilling their needs in both Parts and Service departments. The ideal candidate will adeptly manage parts quotations and orders while also responding to service requests. This position serves as the initial point of contact for product support, engaging with customers through various communication channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer quotes and manage order entries through multiple communication methods.
  • Provide fundamental product assistance for customer inquiries via email, phone, and service management systems.
  • Utilize existing documentation to quickly and accurately diagnose basic customer issues.
  • Maintain thorough records of customer interactions, including problem descriptions and resolutions.
  • Conduct proactive follow-ups on quotes.
  • Ensure customer account information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Log product issues for review by engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Direct customer inquiries to the appropriate internal resources.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.
  • Ability to assess situations effectively and respond appropriately.
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
