Overview:
The Flight Instructor at Lynn University is responsible for conducting both flight and ground training in accordance with applicable regulations. This role includes supporting necessary aircraft maintenance and ensuring adherence to all operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Ensure the safety of flight and ground operations for university aircraft.
2. Deliver training for students enrolled in FAA-approved ground and flight courses.
3. Provide comprehensive instruction in flight, simulator, and ground settings, following university and FAA guidelines.
4. Assist in meeting all maintenance obligations for university aircraft.

5. Maintain accurate student records, ensuring all training standards and objectives are achieved by each student.

6. Support compliance with all FAA Part 141 regulations applicable to the university.
7. Facilitate monthly safety training sessions for all aviation students.
8. Collaborate with the College of Aeronautics on university events.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Valid CFI or CFII certification along with a current FAA medical certificate.
- Flight experience as mandated by FAA regulations.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred.
