Job Summary:

The Flight Instructor at Lynn University performs critical flight and ground training operations under CFR Part 61, 91, and 141. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe flight and ground operations of Lynn University aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts flight and ground training operations in accordance with Lynn University's College of Aeronautics and FAA regulations.
  • Trains students in all part 141 approved ground and flight courses.
  • Provides flight, simulator, and ground instruction to students.
  • Ensures compliance with all maintenance requirements for Lynn University aircraft.
  • Maintains accurate student records and ensures that course standards, training requirements, and objectives are met.
  • Assists with compliance with all Part 141 requirements for Lynn University.
  • Conducts monthly ground safety training sessions for all Lynn University flyers.
  • Supports the College of Aeronautics with Lynn University events.

Requirements:

  • Current CFI or CFII rating with a valid FAA medical certificate.
  • Flight experience as required by CFR Part 141.
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year university or college (preferred).
