Job SummaryThe Network Engineer - Managed Services will be part of our Managed Services team, responsible for supporting multiple clients and handling inbound and escalated inquiries on the Service Desk. You'll work closely with our internal teams to resolve technical issues and provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities- Manage service tickets and respond in a timely manner
- Provide superior service to customers with limited supervision
- Provide remote hardware/software support and documentation
- Act as an internal escalation point for technical assistance or process guidance
- Manage network, datacenter, security, and voice technologies
- Analyze and troubleshoot logs and track problem resolution
- Use monitoring tools to investigate potential issues or respond to monitoring events
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining network hardware and software
- Interact with vendors and drive resolution of issues
- Work with internal teams to escalate technical issues and provide client updates
- Confident and comfortable with client-facing activity
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stay organized and be detail-oriented
- Passion for solving problems and helping others
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 offerings and Active Directory
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and be comfortable with climbing step ladders
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent level of experience in a related field
- 2+ years' work experience as a Network Administrator
- 3 years in a helpdesk role, triaging reported issues and incidents
- Experience managing or troubleshooting Windows desktop and server versions
- Experience managing or troubleshooting Office 365 Exchange online and Microsoft Exchange
- Experience with firewalls and remote access VPNs
- Experience with a ticketing system, such as ConnectWise Manage
- Experience supporting virtual desktop environments
- Experience administering and supporting MFA and security endpoint protection applications
