High Voltage Transmission Specialist

We are seeking a skilled High Voltage Transmission Specialist to join our team in Wallingford, Connecticut. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing high-voltage transmission systems, providing technical expertise and guidance to a team of engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Civil or related Engineering and at least 7 years of experience in transmission engineering, with a strong background in EPC projects. **Key Responsibilities:**
- Design high-voltage transmission systems, taking into account project needs and requirements.
- Develop transmission equipment specifications, RFQs, technical bid summaries, and purchase recommendations.
- Conduct economic conductor selection studies, lightning performance calculations, and grounding studies.
**Requirements:
- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 7 years of experience
- Education: Bachelors
**Salary:** $110,000 - $125,000 per year. Based on education, work experience, and location, pay may vary.
