Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Development Accountant to join our team at LHH Recruitment Solutions. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-class company in the Dallas area, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

The ideal candidate will have real estate development accounting experience, preferably in multifamily properties. This role offers a competitive salary of $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year, along with a hybrid work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile and analyze various company General Ledgers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and input journal entries, ensuring they are accurate and correct, and collaborate with division associates as needed.
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Review and prepare construction draws, reconciling them to the general ledger asset accounts.
  • Manage cash for assigned project bank accounts.
  • Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Review fixed asset ledgers to ensure proper capitalization and depreciation.
  • Prepare and/or review various routine and ad hoc financial reports for management and internal customers.
  • Respond to inquiries from field offices, other departments, and colleagues.
  • Audit ledgers and assist in providing information to outside and internal audits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of real estate development or construction and/or multifamily experience required.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
