Job Overview:
As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, upkeep, and repair of internal manufacturing equipment. Your role will involve overseeing maintenance personnel and tool fabrication, ensuring efficient departmental operations and adherence to established policies.

Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary authority for construction project engineers and contractors, managing changes and utility allocations.
- Maintain a comprehensive library of process piping schematics, including various utility gases and water systems.
- Develop and update Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) for process gases associated with tank farms and utility-fed piping.
- Collaborate with HVAC teams to document and manage process heat loads, assessing their impact on the HVAC system.
- Work closely with the Waste Treatment team to document changes in waste streams and underground piping systems.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced colleagues, leading projects with significant site-wide implications.
- Author site standards for piping, ducting, and mechanical systems, while identifying and communicating best practices.
- Propose innovative solutions to complex manufacturing challenges, with a focus on safety and sustainability.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or a High School diploma with at least 6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in AutoDesk design tools, particularly AutoCAD, and familiarity with 2D and 3D architectural drawings.

Desired Skills:
- Experience with AutoDesk Revit or similar tools.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven problem-solving abilities and project management skills.
- Capacity to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
