Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to join our team at DeMarco Sciaccotta Wilkens & Dunleavy, LLP.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in taxation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review business, fiduciary, and personal income tax returns.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Provide tax planning and consulting services, including complex tax issues.
  • Oversee income tax correspondence and manage multiple clients, budgets, and production goals.
  • Interpret the U.S. tax code and research tax laws to advise clients.
  • Manage and develop staff, assessing performance through formal reviews and informal feedback.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
  • CPA Certification.
  • 6+ years of prior tax experience in public accounting.
  • Significant supervisory experience (2 years plus).
  • Experience preparing entities and individual tax returns.
  • Strong accounting and analytical skills.

Qualified candidates who can work in-office or hybrid schedules are strongly preferred.
