Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team at Arctic Snow and Ice Control. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll information, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain payroll records by collating, calculating, and entering data accurately and efficiently.
  • Update payroll records by entering changes to employee information or benefits, such as job title changes, exemptions, and savings deductions.
  • Prepare reports that include summaries of earnings, tax deductions, leave, compassionate leave, and non-taxable wages.
  • Calculate payroll liabilities by determining employee taxes (federal/state income, social security) and calculating employer payments for social security, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with office administration duties, invoicing, filing, and other tasks as assigned by the General Manager.
