Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Advisor to join our team at Truist. As a Financial Advisor, you will be responsible for providing personalized investment advice and solutions to clients, helping them achieve their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver customized investment solutions to clients, taking into account their unique financial objectives and risk tolerance.
  2. Develop and maintain a profitable level of securities and insurance sales, ensuring alignment with the client segmentation model and their best interests.
  3. Utilize a consultative sales process to partner with clients, reviewing their investment plans on a regular basis and making recommendations to deepen client connections and loyalty.
  4. Properly record transactions and inquiries, ensuring customer files are accurately completed and maintained in accordance with regulatory policies.
  5. Remain knowledgeable of and familiar with all products offered by Truist Wealth, completing continuing education requirements as necessary.
  6. Establish strong partnerships with Wealth and Commercial teams, as well as other internal business partners, to uncover and ensure unmet client financial needs are fulfilled.
  7. Conduct investment product educational seminars for clients and prospects.
  8. Adhere to professional and ethical standards set forth by Truist, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and other regulatory bodies.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience.
  2. FINRA Series 7 and 65 licenses (in lieu of 66).
  3. Applicable state health and life insurance licenses.
  4. Securities sales and client relationship management experience.
  5. Organized and self-motivated individual with strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, persuasion, and relationship management skills.
  6. Competent skills in Microsoft Office software products.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Additional credentials such as the Certified Financial Planner Designation (CFP), CIMA, etc.
  2. Banking experience helpful.
