Job Description

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing all facets of practice operations at MGA Homecare, ensuring effective day-to-day operations and collaboration with providers and key health system and community leaders. This role is responsible for improving the productivity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee operations within the Charlotte location and manage employees to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Implement business guidelines and strategies, working with other department heads to ensure everything runs smoothly and in accordance with guidelines.
  • Direct people and monitor processes and programs across sites to achieve expected outcomes and contractual obligations, and meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Facilitate client understanding of connections between MGA strategic priorities and client needs and expectations.
  • Communicate client feedback and share companywide lessons learned regarding client relations with direct reports.
  • Collaborate with site managers, regional team members, and MGA colleagues at all levels and from all areas/disciplines to implement and monitor business process and clinical quality improvement initiatives across assigned sites.
  • Track, monitor, and communicate key regional planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities, and assist and review the work of others on tasks associated with these activities.
  • Review and analyze budget and financial reports for assigned sites and take corrective action as needed, providing insight behind the numbers.
  • Proactively identify and communicate potential financial issues/risks, and take action to drive improvements in regional financial performance.
  • Identify financial process and reporting inefficiencies and suggest improvements.
  • Support and execute the mission, ethics, and goals of the company effectively.
  • Represent themselves in a positive and professional manner in the company and community.
  • Adhere to dress code with a clean and neat professional appearance.
  • Report on time and as scheduled in order to complete work within designated time.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures outlined in Employee Handbook, Employee Agreement, or communicated from executive team.
