ISI® Elite Training is one of the nation’s fastest-growing boutique fitness franchise brands in America. The ISI® Executive Team is looking for a Director of Operations to lead the organization’s growth efforts at the Headquarters team. The Director of Operations will report directly to the COO and will be responsible for overseeing the Operations, Training, and Field Support departments. This role will play a critical role in supporting our facilities nationwide by ensuring that all departments are aligned and working together to deliver on initiatives that support our overall mission and expansion of the brand. With a key focus on developing and driving systems to support the facility's financial growth.

Overall, the ideal candidate for Director of Operations will have a broad range of experiences, including franchise operations management, leadership, marketing, compliance, and analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be able to work collaboratively with key stakeholders, communicate effectively with franchise partners, and implement systems and processes that support the success of the franchise.


Responsibilities

  • Managing departments: The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing various departments, including but not limited to Operations, Training, and Field Support. They need to ensure that each department is aligned with the company's goals, working effectively, and producing results.
  • Developing and implementing strategies: The Director of Operations needs to develop and implement strategies to meet the company's goals. They need to collaborate with other department leaders to determine the best course of action, and then implement these strategies across all departments.
  • Establishing KPIs: The Director of Operations is responsible for establishing KPIs (key performance indicators) and tracking progress towards goals. They must regularly assess the performance of each department and make necessary changes to improve performance.
  • Managing vendor relationships: The Director of Operations is responsible for managing vendor relationships and ensuring that vendors are meeting the company's standards for quality and service.
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Department: The Director of Operations needs to collaborate with the Marketing department to develop and implement marketing initiatives that support the company's overall business goals.
  • Analyzing market trends: The Director of Operations needs to analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth and development. They should also be able to adapt to changes in the market and adjust their strategies accordingly.
  • Developing and implementing the strategic plan: The Director of Operations is responsible for collaborating with other executives to develop and implement the company's strategic plan. They should ensure that all departments are aligned with the strategic plan and working towards the same goals.
  • Managing budgets: The Director of Operations needs to manage budgets for each department and ensure that they are being used effectively.
  • Ensuring compliance: The Director of Operations needs to ensure that the company is compliant with all laws and regulations. They should establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Foster Franchise Partner Relationships: The Director of Operations will lead the bi-monthly meetings with the FAC. Working directly with the Chairperson to drive collaboration and communication between Headquarters and the FAC


Experience


  • Franchise experience: The ideal candidate should have significant experience working in a franchise environment. This includes experience managing franchisees, understanding the franchise agreement, and implementing franchise systems and processes.
  • Operations management experience: Should have a track record of success in overseeing multiple departments and achieving operational goals. Experience in operations management can include managing budgets, implementing process improvements, and ensuring compliance.
  • Leadership skills: The Director of Operations should have strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. They should be able to lead by example, establish a positive work culture, and provide direction to team members.
  • Communication skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role. They should be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, communicate effectively with franchisees, and collaborate with other executives.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills: The ideal candidate should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. They should be able to identify opportunities for improvement, develop effective strategies to implement them and track progress toward goals.
  • Marketing experience: Marketing experience is also beneficial for the Director of Operations, as they will need to work with the Marketing department to develop and implement marketing initiatives that support the company's overall business goals.
  • Compliance experience: The Director of Operations should have experience ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations. This includes establishing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree: A bachelor's degree in business, operations, or a related field or equivalent experience.

  • Google G-Suite and/or Microsoft Suites (required)
  • FranConnect and(or) Franchise software
  • Facebook Business & Ads Manager (required)
  • Customer Relationship Management platform (required)
  • Point of Sale System experience (required)
