About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Treat each customer with respect and kindness, ensuring every interaction meets our high standards.
  • Be responsible for being at work every scheduled day, on time, and in uniform, ready to assist customers.
  • Count and verify the bank of revenue at the beginning of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  • Collect cash and/or validations, maintaining the security of cash and ensuring accurate transactions.
  • Make change and issue receipts or tickets to customers for each transaction.
  • Compute or recompute bills from tickets, displaying the cost of customer transactions on the cash register.
  • Quote prices for parking services and receive payment from customers.
  • Provide directions to city locations and assist customers, ensuring they reach their destinations efficiently.
  • Resolve customer complaints quickly and efficiently, escalating issues to supervisors when necessary.
  • Answer telephones in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the booth and surrounding area.
  • Conduct timely checks to ensure proper inventory of necessary work aids and supplies.
  • Verify the log of shift transactions against the bank of revenue on hand.
  • Compile banked revenue during the day and prepare shift reports of transactions.
Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Less than high school education or up to one month of related experience or training.
  • Availability to work special shifts, including 2nd shift, 3rd shift, and weekends, as required.
  • A valid state-issued driver's license, with a current address and acceptable driving record, if applicable.
  • Mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
  • Language skills to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Reasoning ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.
