We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Representative to join our team at Cabell Huntington Hospital/St. Mary. As a key member of our HIMG Administration department, you will be responsible for registering patients into our office, scheduling appointments, and performing various administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
* Register patients into the office as new or established patients
* Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
* Enter charges and process payments
* Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
* Perform pre-certifications and other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
* High school graduate or equivalent required
* Business training, computer training, CPT/ICD training, and medical terminology preferred
* Some experience in a medical department or hospital preferred
* Ability to type and use a computer
* Pleasant personality for meeting the public in all situations with tact and poise
