Cyber Operations Specialist

The U.S. Army is seeking highly skilled Cyber Operations Specialists to join their team. As a Cyber Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in conducting integrated and synchronized offensive cyberspace operations to target enemy and hostile adversary activities and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical intelligence and network support to safeguard the cyber domain.
- Collect, analyze, and report digital data to inform decision-making.
- Maintain network defense tools, including routers and firewalls, to ensure the security of Army networks.
- Evaluate network defense operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Respond to incidents in cyberspace, using surveillance and reconnaissance actions to gather information and conduct network terrain audits.
Cyber Operations Specialists undergo rigorous training, including 10 weeks of Basic Combat Training and two phases of Advanced Individual Training (AIT). Phase one includes 25 weeks of training in Corry Station, Florida, while phase two lasts 20 weeks and takes place in Fort Gordon, Georgia. Upon completion, you will be awarded industry-leading certifications, including CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and CISSP.
