Position Overview

The Water Safety Instructor at MVP Sports Clubs plays a vital role in organizing and delivering American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim programs and water safety training. Become a part of our Aquatics Department and contribute positively to the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety of participants by adhering to facility regulations
  • Effectively respond to emergencies in accordance with the Emergency Action Plan
  • Conduct swim lessons following American Red Cross standards
  • Maintain clear communication with students and their guardians
  • Oversee participants during all course-related activities
  • Keep precise records and documentation

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent certification
  • Current certification as an American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor
  • Strong communication and instructional abilities
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and mornings
  • Physical capability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform various duties
