About the Role

Sazerac Company is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Market Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market share in the spirits industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and Maintain Relationships with key customers, including on-premise and off-premise accounts, to drive sales and distribution growth.
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies to achieve volume and distribution goals for our brands.
  • Collaborate with Distributors to ensure effective in-store selling, merchandising, marketing, and execution for accounts.
  • Monitor and Analyze Sales Performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Support Market Development Manager with brand building, programming, and distribution activities with customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant field sales professional experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Valid Driver's License and ability to travel frequently.
  • Strong Planning and Organizational Skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to Obtain a Relevant Solicitor's Permit in any state.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of field sales experience in consumer goods or a related field.
  • Market Development and Sales Analysis Experience and ability to self-manage and manage schedule to achieve results.
  • Strong Ability to Build Customer Relationships and drive sales growth.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing for an Extended Period of Time and ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to Ascend or Descend Stairs and drive to visit multiple accounts in one day.
