Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Incident Response: Oversee the identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring of security incidents.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of cybersecurity investigators, providing leadership, mentorship, and guidance to ensure the effective execution of security operations.
  • Process Improvement: Develop and revise processes to strengthen operational activities, review policies, and recommend changes to improve governance and mitigate threats.
  • Forensic Analysis: Conduct in-depth forensic analysis of digital systems, applications, and data to determine the extent and impact of security breaches.
  • Incident Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports and documentation outlining the nature of breaches, investigative procedures, and findings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships.

Requirements:

  • Minimum six (6) years of experience in cybersecurity investigations and incident response.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), Certified Cyber Forensics Professional (CCFP), or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and security vulnerabilities.
  • Proficiency in digital forensics tools, network analysis tools, and malware analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to cybersecurity and data privacy.
  • Experience working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
