As a Security Operations Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of cybersecurity investigators to proactively investigate and respond to security incidents. You will ensure that incident identification, assessment, quantification, reporting, communication, mitigation, and monitoring are all carried out to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), process adherence, and process improvisation to achieve operational objectives and mitigate threats.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to revise and develop processes to strengthen our current operational activities, review policies, and recommend changes to improve governance. You will also be responsible for team management and the overall use of resources, as well as initiating corrective action where required. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth forensic analysis of digital systems, applications, and data to determine the extent and impact of security breaches. You will gather evidence, preserve the chain of custody, and ensure the integrity of data during investigations.
Evidence of your strong leadership, mentorship, and guidance skills will be essential in providing leadership and mentorship to a team of cybersecurity investigators. You will also be responsible for leveraging standard and non-standard logs in SIEM for investigations and coordinating with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships. You will prepare detailed incident reports and documentation outlining the nature of breaches, investigative procedures, and findings.

Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to have at least six years of experience in cybersecurity investigations and incident response. You will also need to have a bachelor's or master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP, GCIH, CCFP, or equivalent, will be highly desirable. You will also need to have strong knowledge of cyber threats, attack vectors, and security vulnerabilities, as well as proficiency in digital forensics tools, network analysis tools, and malware analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to make well-informed decisions under pressure. Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks related to cybersecurity and data privacy will also be an advantage.
