About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in emergency situations and enjoy helping others. As a Floor Restoration Specialist, you will be responsible for preparing rooms/areas for work activities, setting up staging areas and equipment, communicating with management and other technicians, and performing various floor cleaning and water damage restoration services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare Rooms/Areas for Work Activities: Ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order.
- Set Up Staging Areas and Equipment: Organize and prepare equipment and supplies for each project.
- Communicate with Management and Other Technicians: Maintain efficient production processes by communicating effectively with management and other technicians.
- Perform Floor Cleaning and Water Damage Restoration Services: Restore properties to their original condition using specialized equipment and techniques.
- End-of-Day/End-of-Job Cleanup and Breakdown: Clean and maintain equipment and vehicles at the end of each day or job.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Valid Driver's License: You must have a valid driver's license to operate company vehicles.
- High School Diploma (or GED): A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Adequate Math Skills: You must have basic math skills to calculate costs and perform other mathematical tasks.
- Ability to Lift 50 Pounds Regularly: You must be able to lift at least 50 pounds regularly.
- Ability to Climb Ladders and Work at Ceiling Heights: You must be comfortable climbing ladders and working at ceiling heights.
- Ability to Work in Tight Spaces: You must be able to work in tight spaces and navigate through confined areas.
- Ability to Repetitively Push/Pull/Lift/Carry Objects: You must be able to repetitively push, pull, lift, and carry objects.
- Ability to Work with/Clean Around Chemicals: You must be able to work with and around cleaning agents.
