Role Overview:

As a Research Scientist II, you will play a crucial role in our Quality Management Systems Program. Your primary focus will be on generating high-quality written materials to support regulatory submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in daily technical documentation tasks, ensuring precision and thoroughness.
  • Proofread, prepare, create, review, edit, and update Quality and Technical Documents, including but not limited to: Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Design Control Documentation, Technical Reports, and Risk Management Documentation.
  • Maintain awareness of quality implications stemming from product performance issues, including potential device defects in your area of responsibility.
  • Supervise small teams, guiding staff in their daily activities and assisting in problem-solving efforts.
  • Exhibit technical proficiency in general laboratory techniques and conduct diverse experiments to support existing products.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists, researchers, and technicians.
  • Analyze experimental outcomes and prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Foster professional relationships with internal and external associates, reflecting positively on the company.
  • Adhere to established business policies while adapting to the evolving industry landscape.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in a research development environment, including laboratory and technical writing experience.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience managing the complete documentation creation process.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Capability to produce high-quality documentation to meet project timelines.
