Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agricultural Account Manager to join our team at Environmental Systems Research Institute Inc. (Esri). As an Agricultural Account Manager, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers in the commercial agriculture industry and identifying opportunities to implement location-based solutions using Esri technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with customers and understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to implement location-based solutions using Esri technology.
  • Develop and implement account management and sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to anticipate customer needs and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience.
  • Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers.
  • Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of commercial natural resources, agriculture, or forestry and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers.
  • Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and commercial agriculture, forestry, or a related natural resource industry.
  • Experience managing the sales life cycle.
  • General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations.
  • Knowledge of industry fiscal year, budgeting, and procurement cycles.
