Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve and maintain high occupancy rates by implementing effective marketing strategies, leasing apartments, and ensuring the property is visually appealing and ready for residents.
- Foster a welcoming environment for residents by organizing engaging community events, maintaining open lines of communication, and meeting service expectations.
- Ensure timely rent collection and actively manage delinquency issues.
- Maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents, team members, and contractors.
- Contribute significantly to the achievement of all management objectives.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a team of sales-focused individuals dedicated to resident satisfaction.
- Oversee the operational aspects of the property, including reporting and month-end financial responsibilities.
- Collaborate with project and construction teams to ensure the successful development of the property.
- Manage vendor relationships, including processing invoices and obtaining service bids.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure standards are met.
- Ensure proper maintenance of all leases, service requests, and contract files.
- Drive resident retention through effective lease renewal strategies, aiming for increased rental rates.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of several years of experience in multifamily property management is required, with lease-up experience being highly desirable.
- At least 3 years of experience managing multiple direct reports.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve positive outcomes while upholding core values.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in financial reporting.
- Proven track record of leading change and managing on-site projects.
- A proactive approach to accountability and goal achievement, with a focus on team development.
- Familiarity with RealPage and Microsoft Office is advantageous.
