Core Duties Include:
- Formulating, executing, and disseminating operational strategies to enhance fleet efficiency in alignment with organizational standards, while supervising and managing vehicle damage repair processes.
- Evaluating team performance against established business objectives by setting, communicating, and regularly updating goals related to key performance indicators, such as repair costs, idle vehicle management, and vendor efficiency.
- Conducting daily assessments of damage areas to prioritize repair and salvage operations, effectively communicating tasks to relevant team members.
- Ensuring that all repair orders are finalized and processed in accordance with predefined protocols.
- Estimating labor hours for damage repairs and sourcing the most suitable repair components.
- Reducing damage estimate durations, body shop turnaround times, and on-lot repair cycles.
- Performing monthly evaluations and audits of damage writers.
- Forecasting, budgeting, and managing critical financial metrics, including repair costs.
- Selecting and maintaining relationships with body shops, overseeing workload distribution, negotiating rates, conducting regular audits, and ensuring compliance with service standards and vendor management policies.
- Overseeing the proper utilization of purchase orders, ensuring timely receipt of services and goods, and managing the prompt approval and payment of invoices while maintaining current vendor insurance documentation.
- At bus operations, supervising the damage repair processes for all buses within the fleet.
- Managing all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, recognition, and performance management to foster a high-performance culture.
- Supervising, developing, motivating, and evaluating the performance of managerial and staff personnel to cultivate a high-performing environment.
- Handling all facets of employee relations, ensuring consistent and fair implementation of HR policies in collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners.
- Providing a safe working environment by ensuring adherence to all safety policies and practices.
- May undertake additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Strong organizational and prioritization abilities.

- Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

- Negotiation and vendor management proficiency.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required; a 2-4 year college degree preferred (or equivalent education, training, or experience).
- A minimum of 2 years of management experience in a related field (such as rental car, automotive service, or similar sectors).
- Prior experience in damage assessment is advantageous.
- Valid driver's license is necessary.
- Ability to work flexible hours in a dynamic environment, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as required by business needs.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and oversee multiple operational areas.
