Job Description

The Room Service Server is a key member of the Biltmore team, responsible for delivering exceptional in-room dining experiences to our guests. As a Room Service Server, you will be the face of our hotel, providing warm and sincere hospitality to every guest, every time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms, ensuring all standards of food presentation are maintained.
  • Anticipate guests' needs and respond promptly to requests, providing a world-class service experience.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times, adhering to Biltmore's high standards of service.
  • Set up and deliver amenities to designated rooms, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests.
  • Remove guests' trays/tables from guest rooms according to established standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous serving experience required, with a minimum of six months of related food and beverage experience in a fine dining/upscale setting and/or luxury hotel/resort.
  • Excellent guest relation and communications skills, with the ability to offer warm and sincere hospitality to guests.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to handle a variety of guest service situations in a manner consistent with Biltmore standards.
  • Terrific attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, guest service environment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and professional approach.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent bending, lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Requires walking or standing to a significant degree.
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions.
