Laundry Attendant Job Description

Biltmore Farms, LLC is seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our laundry facilities, ensuring that all linens and uniforms are properly washed, folded, and stored.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sort, wash, and fold all linens from guest rooms to the restaurant and banquet areas
  • Keep laundry area clean and organized
  • Assist Room Attendants and Porters as needed
  • Handle all laundry aspects of the hotel from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets
  • Treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home
  • Be available to work 2nd shift and flexible with availability on each day of the week and holidays
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques
  • At least one year of experience in a hotel setting a plus
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Physical Demands:
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 35 pounds
  • Must be capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling
  • Must be able to work with cleaning products regularly
  • Must be able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year
