Position Overview:
Nightwing is seeking a dedicated Logistics Technician to support our Materials Planning and Inventory Management efforts. This role is essential for ensuring efficient operations within our logistics framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute inventory transactions and manage kits for production workflows.
- Safely handle hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Oversee part materials inventory, including cycle counting processes.
- Facilitate inventory movements using SAP as directed by management.
- Utilize inventory management software proficiently.
- Maintain organization within warehouse and inventory areas, adhering to 5S principles.
- Operate forklifts safely when necessary.
- Ensure proper packing and labeling of items.
- Efficiently process outgoing part kits.
- Manage internal customer returns to inventory.
- Demonstrate the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Exhibit strong initiative, responsibility, and organizational skills.
- Establish effective working relationships and communicate clearly.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or AA/AS degree (or equivalent post-secondary training) with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Must be a U.S. Person or eligible for necessary export authorizations.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Familiarity with SAP systems.
- Understanding of shipping and receiving processes.
- Experience as a material handler.
