To provide top-notch support to healthcare providers at Novant Health - Agency - Reddot, we're looking for a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. Job Summary

In this position, you'll work closely with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient care. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in managing administrative tasks and assisting with clinical duties.

Responsibilities
  • You'll be responsible for coordinating patient appointments, preparing exam rooms, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Your clinical skills will be utilized to assist with procedures, take vital signs, and administer medications (under the supervision of a licensed provider).
  • You'll also be involved in various administrative tasks, such as answering phones, handling correspondence, and processing paperwork.
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required, along with a certification in Medical Assisting (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) within six months of hire.
  • Prior experience in a medical office setting is preferred, but not necessary. If you're new to the field, don't worry – we offer comprehensive training to help you grow professionally.
  • You must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, providers, and other staff members.
