Role Overview

We are seeking a Director of People Operations with extensive experience in managing human resources on a global scale. In this pivotal role, you will play a significant part in propelling business expansion while nurturing an outstanding company culture and enhancing employee experience. As a vital member of our leadership team, you will be tasked with crafting and executing HR strategies that align with our ambitious growth objectives and promote a culture of excellence and innovation. Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of People Operations, from advocating for our employees to collaborating with business leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Formulate and implement HR strategies that resonate with the company's overarching mission and business goals.
  2. Talent Acquisition: Work closely with Talent Acquisition and senior management to manage hiring requests, track hiring progress, and ensure a robust pipeline of qualified candidates.
  3. Employee Relations: Supervise employee relations initiatives, ensuring equitable and consistent practices that foster a positive workplace and enhance employee satisfaction.
  4. Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to develop competitive compensation and benefits programs that attract and retain top talent while ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  5. Performance Management: Ensure that performance management processes effectively drive employee engagement, development, and retention.
  6. Compliance: Guarantee adherence to local labor laws and regulations across all operational jurisdictions.
  7. Organizational Development: Spearhead initiatives that cultivate a culture of continuous learning, growth, and innovation.
  8. HR Operations: Oversee daily HR operations, including HRIS management, reporting and analytics, and being the primary contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, compensation, and career development.
  9. International Expansion: Provide strategic support for international growth initiatives, including the establishment of HR policies and practices in new markets.

Qualifications

  1. Experience: Over 10 years of experience in an HR or People Operations role within the technology, fintech, or financial services sectors.
  2. International and Domestic HR Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices, including employment law, compliance, visa and immigration regulations, and cultural considerations.
  3. Strategic Thinker: Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and drive organizational success.
  4. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  5. Adaptability: Comfortable navigating a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
