About the Opportunity

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of temporary lecturers in the School of Education and Human Development. This pool will be used to fill part-time, non-tenure-track positions as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach courses in the School of Education and Human Development
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the school's programs and courses
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student learning and success

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Education, Human Development, or a related field
  • Significant teaching or work experience in K-12 education, community, or business contexts
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse communities and populations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ed.D. or Ph.D. in Education or a related field
  • Experience teaching at the graduate level
  • Experience teaching online or with blended/hybrid models

Screening of Applications Begins:

Review of applications will begin immediately. This temporary Lecturer pool is anticipated to remain continuously active through October 31, 2024-at that point, all applications will be cleared from the pool. You are welcome to reapply to the new posting after that date.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The salary range for this position has been established at $4,900, for a fully-enrolled 3-credit course. Please note that under enrolled courses may be canceled and pay is prorated for under enrolled courses that have not been canceled.

This part-time appointment is not eligible for group health, life insurance, and retirement benefits.

As of January 1, 2021, Lecturer positions will accrue sick leave at a rate of 0.034 hours per hour worked with a maximum accrual of 48 hours per fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).

This position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

This will be a semester-by-semester appointment, with the possibility of renewal. If your appointment in this position continues, you will be notified in writing each term.

This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
